popular leisure destination in Europe.
The
history of the Costa del Sol dates back over 20,000
years and each civilisation; the Phoenicians, Iberians,
Romans, Muslims and Christians, have left visible traces
of their architecture and culture.
Add
to this cultural diversity more than 30 years of intense
investment and development in the tourism sector and
the result is today's Costa del Sol, efficiently connected
to the rest of the world by its International airport,
motorways, railway system and harbour.
Its
climate, with an average of 325 sun filled days a year,
is considered the best in Europe, making the enjoyment
of sports, outdoor activities and entertainment a way
of life -virtually free of disappointment!
With
such a large selection of deluxe hotels, modern conference
facilities, exciting activities, exquisite restaurants
and sophisticated nightlife, it is the perfect setting
for any holiday.
